About Our Therapists:

Irene Kim, LGPC, PMH-C, is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Irene graduated with a Master's in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and has extensive experience working with both children and adults in critical backgrounds with a variety of mental health disorders. She has worked with the perinatal population for over 10 years and has also worked with individuals struggling with emotional disorders both in the school and home setting. Irene's judgement-free, client-centered approach allows you to go to those areas in your life that may be difficult to face yet necessary to move forward in your life.

Mona Kim, LCPC, CCTP-II, NCC, is a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist with 13 years of experience supporting individuals and families in achieving emotional well-being. Holding a Master’s in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and since then having worked up to the supervisory level, Mona is an expert in her field and combines evidence-based techniques such as CBT and mindfulness-based therapy with empathy to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, build resilience, and achieve personal growth. Mona believes every client deserves compassionate care and is honored to walk alongside them on their journey to healing and well-being.

Experienced Therapists - Our licensed and insured therapists have a wealth of experience in various evidence-based therapy modalities such as Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PTC), and more.
Convenience - We offer both IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL TELEHEALTH therapy options.
Our office is located conveniently in Rockville, MD, and provides a calm, secure setting to enjoy face-to-face interaction while our virtual sessions offer the same high-quality care and support via secure, encrypted video sessions.

Enrolling Year Round
This group is designed for individuals navigating the perinatal season, including:

Those in their third trimester of pregnancy

Format & Structure

8-week series (virtual format)

60-minute sessions

Semi-structured: each session includes a focused topic, a brief educational segment, and open sharing/discussion in a safe, supportive environment.
